Privacy
In short: NoiseWall sends nothing about you. It has no account, no telemetry and no ads. This website uses no cookies and no analytics.
1. The NoiseWall program
- All settings, rules and activity logs stay only on your computer. We do not receive them and have no access to them.
- NoiseWall connects on its own only to these places – and only when the feature is turned on:
- www.spamhaus.org – once a day it downloads the public list of dangerous networks (Spamhaus DROP) if "Download lists automatically" is on. Only an ordinary web request is sent (your IP address is visible to the server, as with any website visit).
- The NOISE ARTILLERY licensing service (Google Firebase, data centre in the EU) – only when you buy a module, use Restore purchases or release a computer. The e-mail you paid with is sent (for a restore also a one-time code), and a random identifier of this installation (to tell computers apart; it reveals nothing about the computer). In normal use NoiseWall does not contact the licensing service – it checks the license itself by its digital signature.
- wall.noiseartillery.sk (this website) – update check: once a day a small digitally signed list of versions is downloaded if "Check for updates automatically" is on (on by default, turn it off in Settings › Updates); the installer of a new version is downloaded only when you click Install; later also downloading a paid module after activation. Only an ordinary web request is sent – no identifier, no version number and nothing about your computer (the server only sees the IP address, as with any website visit).
- The diagnostic file (Settings → Diagnostic file) is saved on your desktop. It is not sent anywhere; if you send it to us, we use it only to solve your problem and then delete it.
2. The LAN Chat module
- Messages go only to your local network, encrypted with the group code. No server, no account – we never see the messages.
- The last 500 messages of each group are stored only on your computer, encrypted for your Windows account. They are deleted when you leave the group or uninstall NoiseWall.
- The other members of a group see the name you chose and the address of your computer in the local network.
3. Buying a module
The payment is processed by Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ, Estonia) as the seller of record and an independent controller of your payment data – see the Creem privacy policy. We never see card details. From Creem we receive only what we need for the license, support and accounting: name, e-mail, country, product and amount.
We record purchases and licenses in our licensing service, which runs on Google Firebase (Google Ireland Limited as processor, data in the EU): e-mail, the modules bought, the order date and number, and random identifiers of the computers on which a module is active. We hold no passwords and know nothing else about your computer. Legal basis: performance of the contract (so you keep a module you bought even after reinstalling) and legal obligations (accounting – receipts are kept for 10 years). Purchase data is kept as long as you can use the module.
4. This website
- The website uses no cookies, analytics, tracking scripts or fonts from other servers.
- The website is hosted by WebSupport s. r. o. (Bratislava), which records technical data for every request (IP address, time, requested file, browser) to keep the service running. We do not use these records to track visitors.
5. E-mail
When you write to us, we use your address and message only to reply and provide support. Our e-mail is operated by Google (Gmail). We keep the correspondence as long as needed to handle it, at most 3 years.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object. Just write to noiseartillery@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava, dataprotection.gov.sk.
